  • What if my baby is older than 20 days?
    No worries at all! For babies over 20 days, we focus on adorable toddler-style setups and can still try some swaddled or parent-holding poses if your little one is comfortable. Every baby is unique, and we’ll do our best to capture sweet moments!
  • What should I wear for my session?
    We have a beautiful collection of dresses for you to choose from, all included in your package! You can browse them here: https://www.tanyaholod.com/maternity-dresses. If you have a special outfit you’d like to bring, that’s wonderful too - just let us know! We’ll help you look and feel amazing.
  • What’s the best time for a maternity shoot?
    The ideal time for maternity photos is around 30-32 weeks. By then, your bump has a lovely shape, and you’ll still feel comfortable and energized for the session. This timing also gives us plenty of flexibility to try different poses and styles!
  • Do you offer in-home or outdoor sessions?
    At the moment, we only offer in-studio sessions. This helps us create the best possible photos for you, with all our special lighting and beautiful setups. If you have any questions or special requests, feel free to ask!
  • Where is your studio located?
    Our cozy studio is at 2000 Oakley Park Rd #200, Commerce Charter Twp, MI 48390. We’re on the second floor, and there’s an elevator for your convenience. If the front door is locked, just text or call us and we’ll let you in. We can’t wait to welcome you!
  • How do I book a session?
    Booking is super easy! Just visit our website to see all the packages, prices, and our online calendar: https://www.tanyaholod.com/investment. If you have any questions or need help choosing the perfect package, just let us know—we’re always happy to help!
  • Can my partner or family join the session?
    Absolutely! We love capturing precious moments with partners, siblings, and family members. Just let us know who you’d like to include, and we’ll make sure everyone feels comfortable and included in the photos.
  • Can I get extra photos?
    Of course! If you fall in love with more photos than your package includes, you can add extra images for $20 each. We’ll make sure every photo you choose is beautifully edited and ready to cherish.

  • Can I share my favorite colors or inspiration for the session?
    Absolutely! We love making your session unique to you. Feel free to send us your favorite colors, a screenshot of a color palette, or any inspiration photos you adore—whether from our portfolio, Pinterest, or anywhere else. This helps us create a setup that truly matches your vision and style!
  • What if I want to bring my own outfits or props for my baby?
    That’s wonderful! If you have special outfits or props, like a cute bunny costume or a favorite blanket, please bring them along. We’re happy to include them in your session and can even create themed backdrops to match, like an Easter setup if you’d like. Your personal touches make the photos even more meaningful!
  • Can I get unedited (raw) photos?
    You’ll receive a gallery of preview images to select your favorites, but we don’t provide unedited files for download. Only your chosen, beautifully edited photos will be delivered.
  • Do you offer gift certificates?
    Yes! A photo session makes a wonderful gift for expecting parents or new families. Contact us to purchase a gift certificate for any package.
  • Do you provide makeup and hairstyling for the photo session?
    We don’t include makeup or hairstyling in our sessions, as most clients prefer to do their own or visit their favorite salon. Our style is all about highlighting your natural beauty, so just a little makeup and a simple hairstyle to enhance your features is perfect!
  • How does the photo selection process work, and what’s included in my package?
    At the studio, we’ll explore a variety of poses and setups based on your favorite styles, including photos with you and your partner. After your session, I’ll send you a link to preview the best images. You’ll get to choose your favorites for my magical retouching! Each package includes a different number of final photos, and if you fall in love with more, you can always add extra images for $20 each.
  • How do I prepare for my session?
    A few tips: Please share a photo of yourself and anyone joining you, so we can plan the best lighting and setups. Take a look at our dress gallery and let us know your favorites. Clean, styled hair and light makeup work best for photos. Body-colored underwear (without lace) is recommended under dresses. For newborn sessions, bring a pacifier and try to have your baby arrive a little tired and hungry, so they’ll sleep easily during the shoot. If you have any inspiration photos, feel free to share them! We want your session to feel just right for you.
  • What if I want to change the setup or colors during the session?
    No worries at all! The sample photos or ideas you share just help us get a sense of your preferences, but we can adjust anything on the fly during your session. We want you to feel comfortable and love every setup we create together!
  • What if my baby is fussy or needs a break?
    No stress at all! We’re used to working with little ones and will take breaks as needed for feeding, changing, or cuddles. Your baby’s comfort comes first.
  • How do I choose my favorite photos?
    After your session, you’ll receive a private gallery link where you can view all the photos. Just click the little heart on your favorites, or send us a screenshot or the photo numbers—whatever is easiest for you! We’ll edit your chosen images to perfection.
  • How long does it take to get my edited photos?
    Editing usually takes about 2-3 weeks. We take special care with every image to make sure you absolutely love the results! If you need your photos sooner, just let us know and we’ll do our best.
  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
    Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, you can do so online or just message us directly. We’ll help you find a new date or process your refund right away. Your happiness and comfort are our top priorities.
  • Can I leave a review?

  • What if I need my photos by a specific date?
    No problem! If you have a special date in mind—like a birthday or family event—just let us know. Once you select your favorite photos, editing usually takes 2-3 weeks, but we’ll make a note in your file and do our best to have them ready by your requested date.
  • Can I split my payment?
    Yes! If you’d like to split your payment between maternity and newborn sessions, or pay in parts, just let us know. We’re happy to make it easy for you.
  • How do I access my photo gallery?
    After your session, you’ll receive a private gallery link and password. You can view, select, and even order prints directly from your gallery. Super easy!
  • Can I order prints or canvases of my photos?
    Absolutely! You can order prints, canvases, and other products right from your gallery. If you need help choosing sizes or finishes, we’re happy to guide you.
